How it all works. The break down...

Structure:

One-on-One Tutoring and The Buddy System (small study groiups): The full SAT course generally takes between 18-20 lessons. Here's the general breakdown: 4 Math lessons, 4 Critical Reading Lessons, 4 Grammar/Writing lessons and 4-6 lessons spent on practice tests. Some students are able to move more quickly and some students need extra sessions. Either way we tailor the course to the student's needs. Also, if a student only needs help with one section (Math, Critical Reading or Writing), that's fine too.

SAT Classes: Classes will generally be 8-12 lessons, depending on the date of the next SAT. Here's an example breakdown: The 8 week October 2009 SAT Class will consist of 3 Math lessons, 3 Critical Reading Lessons, 2 Grammar/Writing lessons. Practice tests will be done for homework and marked in class.

Scheduling:

We will meet once a week for a 90 minute session, but allow for an extra 10-15 minutes in case we run a little long.

Price:

Please call for prices. Payment is due at the end of each session for private lessons. SAT classes will require a partial payment up front. We hate to obligate anyone in any way, but advance payment is a necessary evil in the classroom format.

In the end, all a student will need is a calculator, a pencil and a winning attitude!
